Breaking news
20 May 2011 @ 21:42
Well, we've only gone and done it...bought a new marquee for our outdoor events!
As you may have noticed from our photos on Facebook, we already have a gazebo, which, on breezy days, we spend a lot of time battening down the hatches trying to keep hold of the gazebo and all of our stock. Whilst quite amusing to watch, this is quite a nightmare for us and the decision to invest in a full blown marquee with sides is, in our opinion, a very wise one!
So now we are ready for next weekend, when we will be at Wath Montgomery Hall on Saturday 28th May for the White Arrow Music Festival and at Cannon Hall on Sunday and Monday the 29th and 30th May. Please let the weather be clement...please, please, please!
Come along and say hello, we love to meet up with old friends and make new friends and, you thought we'd forgot didn't you? If you want to have a fun time and you live in the South Yorkshire area, contact us for details about our parties!
Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Cannon Hall...
27 April 2011 @ 20:19
...yes we did! The weather was glorious, the gazebo has been aired and we met some lovely people who were very enthusiastic about Our Little Craft Company!
We are now looking forward to Sunday 1st May at The Glasshouse, Kirk Sandall, Doncaster, where, apparently, you can get a lovely carvery dinner. Yummy!
After this, our next event is Elscar Heritage Centre on 14th & 15th May, closely followed by the Wath Music Festival at Montgomery Hall on the 28th May and back to Cannon Hall on 29th & 30th May.
You can't say we're not busy, busy, busy!!!
By the way, nearly forgot to mention - if you want a party in the South Yorkshire area, please feel free to contact us - we promise you a good laugh, as well as the chance to buy our lovely wares.
Come and see us...
23 April 2011 @ 18:50
Our next craft fair is on Easter Monday at Cannon Hall - open from 11.00 am til 4.30 pm.
Come along and join the fun - it's a great day out and weather permitting we will be giving the gazebo it's first outing in 2011.
On Sunday 1st May we are exhibiting at a new venue - The Glasshouse Pub at Kirk Sandall in Doncaster. Entry is free and the pub offers an excellent carvery for your Sunday lunch. The Candice Craft Fair is open from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm.
See you soon - Sally & Lisa
What next?
13 April 2011 @ 19:59
Just a quick update...so busy keeping all our balls in the air, not surprised when we drop some - oops!
Well we were at the Consort Suite at Thurcroft last Saturday courtesy of Candice Craft Fairs - very nice and the guinness was lipsmackingly lovely. Met up with some friends from facebook so at last we can put some faces to the names. A lovely day all in all and the next event we are looking forward to is Saturday 16th April at Montgomery Hall in Wath. Sally's daughter Kay is standing in and helping Lisa to run the stall - so come along and join the fun - the fair is open from 10.00 am til 1.00 pm.
Sayonara for now and at the risk of repeating ourselves once again - if you fancy a fun night and live in the South Yorkshire Area, why not host an Our Little Craft Company Party - commission of 10% cash or 20% if taken in goods on sales on the night with the chance of commission on further sales after the event. We can't say fairer than that can we?
Party time!
27 March 2011 @ 12:12
Thought we'd take this opportunity to thank Cheryl and Ashley and guests for a lovely evening! We do love a party it gives us the chance to meet new friends and to wax lyrical about what we love doing and it gives our customers the chance to fondle our goods as much as they want.
Our next fair is at Thurcroft Consort Suite on the 9th April so if you'd like to meet us in person for a chinwag or perhaps to book your own party please pop along they'll be lots of other crafty people there selling there wares too.
And don't forget to keep an eye on the Yorkshire Made blog at www.yorkshiremade.blogspot.com to read some of Lisa's ramblings. Just click on the Yorkshire Made link on the right.
